I assume that they do not have information in them about who owns them. But if I log out, and log back in, then the sigils I placed do hurt me. I don't think the light sources contain information about who placed it (but I could be wrong).įor example, I've noticed that when I place sigils on the ground, they won't affect me at first.
I assume also that a permanent light source can be removed by any wizard with a wand with that spell. Even if you remove the artefact from your inventory, or log off, the light will remain. I assume this means that when you place a light source, it will be temporary if the artefact is not in your inventory, but permanent if it is. Which I believe is the same thing that the tooltip in game says.
